SC 12a distributor

I have a distributor from a 85 automatic 12a does anyone know for sure if its the same as one from a manual 12a? ive seen some that say they are and some say they aren't. thanks

Get the FSM and look up the dizzy advance curve specs. I think they are the same but the manual will say for sure. The foxed.ca site has the manual onlne.

parts catalog says 12A and 13B for the distributor, so all the 12A ones should be the same. it should have an N249 stamped into the body of it. if there is a different N2xx or N3xx number, its not original to the car
