remove the lock from the steering column. one phillips head screw holds the electrical part of the switch to the back of the lock cylinder. this will allow u to start the car with a flat blade screwdriver.

or remove the lock cylinder from the passenger's (or driver's) door and take it to a locksmith to get a key made. Be sure it has the number stamped on the cylinder.

I found my keys like 6 posts ago haha, I updated it as an edit. Thanks for all the tips though!

I am currently cleaning and putting back together all the bits I took off my car getting it ready for when Eddy comes to pick it up next Monday ( it was to be picked up yesterday but the protesters in LA started looting a few miles down from my parents store and we had to go all Roof Korean for the day).
Interesting find, Behind of the seats were all the original documentation of purchase and manufacture of the vehicle along with a record of what was done to the car from 1979 to 1992 .
SO for a while, you guys have been chastising me for refusing to switch to an electronic ignition system, and my response was " my car turns on every time on the first turn of the key" welp, that's because in 1982 the original owner installed a gerex electronic ignition system and a "machine distributor" whatever it was the person paid 300$ back in the day. My car is OG modified.
85 Also, the owner modified the gearbox ratios ( explains why this little ****** pulls like a helion)
86 Adjusted the steering gear ( no idea what that means)
87 installed a full set of Koni shocks and struts ( i discovered this a while ago) along with Pirelli P77 tires

Eddyrenown ( renownracing) came and picked my car up today to go do the rebuild, it turns out the last owner had fucked with the rat's nest, he seems like a great guy and brought his kids along. He gave me a great deal on a rebuild . Sad to see my baby go but it's been sitting in my garage for like two years.

Nice, Eddy will help you get it going right. Will you be switching over to a 48 IDA carb? Are you going with a stock rebuild or are you going to get some porting done?

I told him i just want a basic rebuild , i have a very tight budget . If i had a grand or two more id def get it bridge ported and a new carb.
