Question **Racing Beat Springs???**

I was luckly enough to find some red springs of a '79, at the yard picked them up for $32 all 4.

Look like Racing Beat, but dosent have the WHITE logo on it..is it suppose to???

Could the logo just have come off??? What other springs come in red???

Thanks

-Ryan

eibach pro kit is grey

eibach race springs including the 2.5" springs used for coilovers that ground control sells are red

suspension techniques are blue.

tokico made some springs that i think were bronze.

i bet they're racing beat.

They could also be stockers that the owner of the '79 painted red. They could also be a brand that isn't sold anymore. It's hard to say with boneyard parts. The only way to tell if they're stiffer than stock is slap them on your car and test 'em out.

no pics, sorry Ray.

Drivefast7- good info thanks. probably not the coil over kit since the car didnt have coil overs that would have been nice.

Mosesx605- No, there not stockers. C'mon we'd all know the difference between STOCK COLORED springs and aftermarket.

These springs look aftermarke at first site. I double checked the RED to make sure it wasnt painted. Then double checked springs on a STOCK then compared them....Hardly similar, much smaller and the coils are WAAAYYY closer together.

I'll be cleaning them off later maybe I'll uncover something.

Thanks everyone for your help.

BTW mosesx605, what setup are you using for auto-x my car was auto-x'ed SCCA when I bought it. What suspension set are you using. Debating between, Racing Beat and Suspension Tech's???

I'm still running stock springs right now, due in part to finances and also because they were replaced with new units not too many miles ago by the previous owner. I'm planning on getting the RB springs for next season, along with some polyurethane bushings for the front and some R compounds. I'm getting help on the rear suspension by someone who's autoXed RX-7s for a while, so hopefully I can get some more grip out of the rear. Sliding around the track is fun, to a point, but I'd rather be fast.
