K3 Sunbeam silver, Grey/black interior, Datsun 240Z rivet on flares, 14x8 F, 15x8.5 rear (for the rake) FC GTU spoiler, N/A F.I 12A, w/ITB's, SP, current RB SP exhaust, 4 point cage, Recaros, Carbon hood, sunroof. Replace gas tank with 8 gal fuel cell, Current suspension, but better tires. Thats the big stuff. It's what I'm working on (as im sure we all are), maybe 2 more years and she should be done. Then I can move on to an FD or get another FB

One of my dream FB's is about to begin once I get my FC on the road to use as my daily driver. She'll be pulled off the road and the 138K 12A will be pulled apart for some fresh bits and pieces along with some angry attacks from a drimmel and a Hybrid HT-18. Shootin for 300 rwhp!

i'm more stunned than anything.. after all these years someone finally knows the owner of the car? I'd hafta say no way unless you did one of those take a pic of yourself holding your screen name while sitting in the car type deals..
that kit has been questioned so many times it ain't funny.. i'm sure there's a few servers that are full because of all the threads started on it.. If your dad really does own it, get pics! of everything! and molds.. of everything!

ford 9inch narrowed with different gears

no moldings or door handles all filled

radar detector/ jammer - it would be needed

A black 100% rust free FB with with a mariah airdam and rear bumper, with a stock wrap around wing, and of corse wide body kit. Some pretty black deep dish BBS wheels that match the kit, window tints and a subtle drop. As for performance, an NA 20b with high compression rotors, judge ito street porting, the best and most well tuned fuel injection setup money can buy, with a high dollar SS borla exhaust system, upgraded brakes, a built manual trans with a tough, but streetable clutch, and finally a nice ford rear end.

an '84 or '85 like that one is known colloquially as an FB, even though Norway may have still used the old numbering system

I've been building up my dream car for 3 years.. I have been replacing parts that were aged like steering arms, ball joints (everything pretty much).. and have finally opted to get the motor done. So far I have done mostly all the work myself, but at this point I have got Stuie doing some custom brakes, building an engine and an exhaust (things I would prefer get done right first time, guaranteed)
I reckon I could have 2 dream 7's - one with a completely stripped but neat interior - all freshly painted, and another with a nice simple stock interior...
Things to do to complete the dream:
- engine (in progress)
- thermofans (in progress)
- exhaust (in progress)
- diff - old one is going to die once i get the engine
- one of seals at rear of gearbox leaks oil onto exhaust
- gps tracking system (upgrade to alarm - will be installed the day i get the car back)
- upgrade headlights to brighter more focussed
- track wheels + tyres
- bend the chassis under drivers seat so i can fit a new seat in lower (i wont fit in the car with a helmet - too tall)
- maybe replace front bar, as it has been repaired but is not perfect..
- maybe rewire everything :P i have no idea where ill get the motivation and time to do this though lol... maybe one day
- DRIVE IT
STAGE 2:
- upgrade to a 20B (this will be in many years... but definitely i want to do this one day)
I reckon the main thing for me is to keep it simple and neat - if I can keep it like that, it'll be my dream car

well, i've got 2 dream FBs and 1 dream SA.
i'll start with FB #1 (the one i'm actually trying to build)
Series 3 GS (manual windows and sunroof/moonroof)
custom paint (navy blue and silver - in a design yet to be determined)
full suspension (it's a mix-n-match system i've drafted for my own driving tastes)
polygraphite bushings all around
strut tower brace
stock 13" aluminum wheels (the "+" wheels)
Yokohama AVS Intermediates (NLA - but this is a dream, right?)
headlight upgrade
stainless steel brake lines
Hawk HP+ pads
ATE Super Blue
stock dark gray/black interior (except seats - to be determined, i guess i'll have to bend over and accept that i'll need to upgrade the stock radio, too, since none of the ******* tape players work! no biggie though, i love CDs)
Momo steering wheel (custom horn button)
limo tint - with functional rear defogger
13B large streetport (all i'll say until i actually get it assembled and fired up is it will probably represent every 13B (in parts) from the S5 to the Renesis - i'm still gathering needed parts)
Autronic SM4
50 mm IDA intake system (550cc x 4)
EFI-modified gast tank
RB streetport exhaust system
aluminum flywheel
ACT stage 3
rebuild S4 GXL tranny (synthetic fluid)
SE oil cooler
torque brace (possibly RB, possibly)
engine & tranny mounts (to be determined)
possible custom driveshaft (depends on what my research yields for studies on weight savings vs. cost)
upgraded electrical system (alternator, lights, battery relocation, etc.)
i'm basically planning to build the Rx-7 i would have wanted Mazda to offer back then, whether stock or some sort of special model. this is what i'm trying to work on (on and off between other projects) now.
still to come ... the SA dream and the FB Turbo dream.

im in a very slow build of my very own fb
basically i wrote of my s8 fd rz, and got car back of insurance now i intend to build a FB /rz im putting the s8 13b in it, the red recaros, and integrating all other bits and peices, i am also going to get c/f inner door skins, and a custom cf dash made up eventually, all that and much much more, + the added feature of a house is going to slow me down a little bit, ive estimated it taking about 3-4 years...
but see how i go

My dream car is my current car (a silver '79 model with Factory spoiler and louvres), but with Black Datsun Z flares, deep dish 8 spoke wheels ie: Panasport, Watanabe, etc, GSL-SE rear end and brakes, and a rebuilt 12a mild streetport with a blowthrough turbo/carb setup. Kinda like what a 79 GTX would've been like. I just want some show and some go, but no overkill hp.

the dream SA ... would prefer a '79
black
restored unibody (reinforced suspension points)
restored interior (okay ... aftermarket radio/CD)
mild suspension
brakes (lines, pads, synthetic fluid)
stock 13" waffles OR the FB aluminums (not decided yet)
limo tint
upgraded electrical
12A large streetport (built to be totally obnoxious)
[lightened rotating assembly, aluminum flywheel, full balance, etc.]
Sterling Nikki
custom exhaust
FB GSL rear end

ahhh, dreams....
1980 RX-7, skymaster blue with metallic chip (nightime sky effect)
S3 front end
front air dam
slight and discreet fender flares all around
slim whale tail
13B Renesis, the 9k happy version, forified to run above 10k (N/A would be ok... at first)
with three shiny sequential two barrel carburators! (no one said it had to make sense) well, maybe not
5 lug FC front suspension swap with quad calipers
custom double wishbone independent rear suspension with a torsen LSD (squeezing a TII rear in would be acceptable)
What better wheels for an RX-7 than BBS RX wheels? 205s on 8 inch wide rims
adjustable coilovers make sense, but a coil on adjustable airbag suspension would be awesome. Change stance on the fly and let the car jump
Toyota Getrag V160 or V161 transmission, adapted to fit
custom aluminum driveshaft
almost stock black SA interior
79' 130mph speedo, 12k tach in stock location with stock coloring
rear +1 seat, with speakers in molding on sides
Clarion gutted to house wifi/cellnet/gps/bluetooth enabled computer with digital tuner, ***** still functional though
slurpy style cdrom in tape deck location
fold fown 7" LCD screen, touchpad integrated into top of ashtray, a GUI that can be run keyboardless
foldable bluetooth keyboard in glove box, for those ops that no GUI is good for
extra gauges, with oil pressure and voltmeter at the top of the list, displayed on LCD
two cup holders in front, somewhere, one for the rear too
adjustble and fully collapsable steering wheel to compliment the seats that fold into a bed, onboard AI, four directable jet engines in the underbody plus two at the rear, sealed chamber rebreather system, submersible mode, refinery in location of the gas tank to convert trash into hydrogen...
EDIT: 205s are big enough. :-P
