Your Dream FB

Hey guys, I was browsing the FC forum and came accross a thread they have that is what their dream FC's are and thought it would be cool to see what everyone's dream FB would be. I'll get us started:
Completely restored from the ground up 82 GSL, Tornado Silver Metallic, black interior, 1k on a brand new 12A(yeah brand new not freshly rebuilt ), Rebuilt tranny and rear end. It would be as immaculate as it would have been as it rolled off the assembly line.
Or
A mint GSL-SE like the red one that we all drool over.
Okay guys let's hear what your dream FB is!

+1 man, I just ordered that air dam. then bubble flares, 13b BP and 50DCOE seems more realistic to me.

90% of the resonsesi agree with as far as engine setup being turbo, as far as exterior I'd prob do either mariah mode 1 with some staggered sportmax's (the 5spoke ones) in either a nice orange like the last camaros or lexus pearl white with a nice 4link in the back an camberplates an adj coilovers

I would love to have a 79 sa that they forgot to sell maybe with 50 test drive miles or so, red with black interior. I would just like to have one that is as close to original condition as possible, bone stock baby!

A mint 1982 GSL in Tornado Silver (charcoal) or Misty Blue Metallic.

I guess I'd change wheels to Panasports and the seats .

any first gen with under like, 4K miles, just all origanal, untouched by anyone pretty much.

or any s2 or s3, with an old school 80's wide body kit, similar to trocoids. would have louvers, on the rear glass, be a gsl or gsl-se as far as interior options go, and have WIDE oldschool mesh wheels. as for motor, an NA 13B peripheral port, or a 20B NA p-port. and spray it maya gold, or the s-2 gold, like on the 82 & 83's.... awwww man.......

funny cuz i was just talking about a dream 1st gen at work today with my buddy who's got a 79 SA.

Yeah these are sounding awesome guys. I guess I should have put SA in the title as well! LOL. The FB I'm building now will be a nice dream come true as well.
Bridgeport 12A with a Hybrid S5 Turbo, Turbo II transmission, Ford 8.8" rear end, full 5 lug swap with 15x7 Panasports in black, Eibach pro kit springs, Tokico Illuminas, All new braded fuel and brake lines, new bushings etc, an MSD ignition to spark things off, and plenty of custom bodywork(don't wanna give away too much ). It would all be caged with some Mazdaspeed seats and a nice fresh coat of Schwarz for the exterior. Just some minor details, there's plenty more that needs done LOL

ide love a tubbed, tube chassis white '79(must look stock on the outside) w/ a ford 9", a heavily ported 20B(or 26B) w/ aluminum sidehousings...to keep weight down, precision turbo PT-101(maybe PT-109),and a Lenco CS2 5-speed trans. it would be a total sleeper... other than the crazy sounds eminating from the 5" open downpipe.

Honestly, my own car, that's why i'm building it.

85 SE, widebody, TII motor - too many mods to list. Shooting for over 400 rwhp. (old picture)

Yea,really!

My dream is done now after 10 years of building. Although I am limited by certain factors, there are certain aspects that I would add,if all dreams came true and there were no limits. Those would be.....

For my project car to have been based on a zero mile 1st gen,to assure perfection.
A 20B,with the twins still working....warmed up with bolt-ons.Mondo torque, while not making the HP levels go to level that is was unsafe for the chassis.
Money-is-no-object underpinnings to get the most out of the handling,so its not just a straight line terror. My suspension is good now,but its simply within my budget.
Everything else like the wheels, paint and body mods would remain the same.It was my vision years ago to have the car the way it sits now, changing anything drastic wouldnt feel right....

If I were to choose an entirely different 1st gen to be my dream car,it'd be Rod Millen's custom AWD Rally 1st gen......exactly the way it was when he raced it,except for a comfy interior and a center differential so it'd be streetable.
