When you realize that your daily driver, which you bought new, is now older than your first-gen was when you first bought it.

When everything but the shell needs replaced with better stuff. FC front suspension / brakes / steering, entirely different rear suspension geometry and brakes, taller wider wheels, modern V6, etc.

But keep in mind that in their day RX-7s were soundly beating the Porsches, Corvettes, BMW's, etc. which arguably had "better" steering, suspension, and engines. Race results demonstrate that "better stuff"does not mean everything.
I hope the V6 comment was a typo. Add a couple more cylinders and I won't complain too much though.

Just because I chose a "wrong" engine doesn't mean you can't learn something from what I do to the rest of the car. Or that I can't learn from what y'all have done to the rest of your cars. Now, back to the funny comments.
