You drive by your friends house, give it a 2nd gear pull and coast down the engine, then receive a text message from that same friend 20 minutes later saying "nice two foot flames."

I'm pretty infatuated with my Dellorto. So what if it's running rich! :p

When you spend more on replacing faded or broken interior pieces than you spent buying the car!

You carry a spare fuel filter with you and can change it in five minutes or less. Just back onto the nearest curb and crawl under.

When you whip into a parking lot at night and some one asks if that's a Corvette and you laugh.

When two vise grips have a permanent home in the hatch.

When those two vise grips cost more than the dam hatch strut, because you can't buy a new one for your SE.

When someone says their rotors are bad and you look confused because you don't know if its the motor or the brakes.

I found that when I replaced the one on the left with a strong new one, it was enough to hold the hatch up even though the one on the right is the original and kinda weak.

You know you are a FB owner when you look in the mirror and see a bruise on your head from hitting the roof of the car when you enter.

You know you are a first gen owner when fabrication of parts becomes standard operating procedure
