Great work on the door cards!
I'm working on mine, trying to replace the cloth with leather...
I'm finding it a bit of a challenge:
1) Finding a staple that securely holds the leather, but not so long that it pierces the fiber board and can be felt through the leather on the visible side (I've got 1/8" staples but they tend to pull right out);
2) Getting uniform tension of the material to avoid puckering on the edges.
Any suggestions on how to proceed? (I'm assuming you did these yourself? I guess I can always go down to my auto upholstery shop...).

Oil cooler thermostat
Hey guys,
I'm trying to get my oil cooler cleaned out. But I can't get the oil cooler thermostat out. Is it normal for it to be hard to take out? I thought it would just fall out once I removed the nut that holds in the oil cooler thermostat.
Anyone of you guys ever had this issue?

I had to repair my oil cooler and I may have uploaded a couple of photos in this thread a few years ago.
Good luck!

Saturday - GSL-SE restomod
New installs: Racing Beat Sway Bar; poly bushings on tension rods; all heater and radiator hoses
Scrubbed: engine bay
Waiting on: new radiator & T3 frt coilovers
Sitting on: rebuilt ft calipers from Mazdatrix and lots of poly bushings
Painted: frt panel under radiator & the panel in front of the radiator [after blasting]
Looking for: someone in Orlando area to restore the GSL-SE OEM aluminum wheels - any thoughts?
bet she handles better with the new sway bar and poly!
Can't wait to fire 'er up after all is said and done.
