Nice clean car, but for that price I'd like it to be an original car that was not rebuilt.

I agree that its super clean and a very nice vintage build. But for that price they can keep it. The prices on these cars have always been super high in Australia.

As above, it went to auction through a collectors' auction house and received a top bid of A$36K (~US$25K) but passed in. We all thought that even that was too much for what is essentially a "tribute" car, because even though it was a limited edition Mirage model, it was non-original and then restomodded (with some important differences from the car as originally specified, notably the engine). It is obviously worth more to the owner, as he has spent a lot of money on it.
