Update after the loss of my fb

I may have found her replacement, this FB appears to have no issues no leak, same model as old one.

1985 GSL, automatic. 90K miles.

A lil abuse, white. Red interior (Doesn't look that bad)

$800

I was thinking of snagging this gem, and having a local rotary shop drop in a turboII. I was also thinking of giving the 12a/auto extremely cheap to somebody around here in need of a new 12a or automatic

So sounds the like the guy that stole and wrecked my FB will be starting to pay in Jan, and I'll be hopefully selling the thousands of dollars of tools I don't need soon wish me luck on that....I'm planning to move in Jan'ish to arizona and well.... I don't want to go there w/out a car so I want to go right with a FB.

I'd want to do the swap and such myself but I can't work on it at my house and I want it setup right so I can toy later. yes I'll have plenty of cash to spend if theres any issues, I want a new engine or a very healthy one, tuned right.... make her into alittle street queen all new suspension stuff, steering linkage, etc anything worn out will be replaced. Sounds like the FB's already in not bad condition ^_^ waiting on more pics

My last FB was coming along beautifully, the old owner did great to her and I continued, she was expected to get a turboII swap and such when I had the funds...then the devil took her.

So now today When I have the funds for a new FB I'll have the funds for the swap and well

Not even gonna drive the car, straight to a shop is my current plans. If it falls through with this GSL, I'm going to try to locate a GSL-SE, I found one for 1,300 I think w/rollcage pretty good condition overall I'll be emailing them soon if I can. I think I found a shop around the bay area, that'll take a rx and do what I tell them to it , a rotary shop.

If anyone knows what a shop should charge roughly for a 12a automatic to 13b turbo manual swap, completely done by the shop running perfect leme know :S ill probably get in touch with the shop I have in mind but I don't really want to bother them till I have the car and $$ I'll have like 5 grand to blow right away (sound good?)

Well I'm stoaked I keep having these amazing dreams of crusing in a turbo fb along the mountain side. Boosting so smoothly mmm

I have no plans for giant exhaust or anything, everything legal. Bonez high flow cat alike my old fb, I'll go with custom exhaust after that to the universal 3" RB (I highly doubt that'll grab any attention, any one else?Lowered slightly, I'd like to get the same rims I had before, I love those old BBS's and I think I'll go with black and silver rims prolly

I basically want to get back to how I was with my old FB, as I told the courts I have no desire for $, I just want my car back. I'm getting the value of the car and all losses like what I put in the car, the towing/storage of it (Which is like $4,8xx!)

This is my motivation to be back where I was

Sounds good, if the body is sound and the paint reasonable, go for it! (I'd love to have that 12A, those are getting hard to find).

We'll see where the 12a goes

The body has been hit on the door by a suv, various other dings on the right front fender and hood. Easy to replace both, I want to go with a wide body and some wide rims and such I love FB's but on my old one I just didn't like the curves at the bottom, dunno why.

Looks like the seller wants to work out a trade as I originally contacted him about, I'll try to go see the car soon and such however... looks like 2 guys are interested in my tools.

I'm excited but trying not to be too excited as this is probably quite a few weeks away.

There was a S2 FB for sale around the bay, modified for autocross, yaw carb and such just needed a new gas tank, was talking to the seller but I was waiting on funds, I emailed him back quickly since he didnt want much more than this 85 automatic gsl.... it was sold, THAT NIGHT

Looks like destiny wants me to get this next GSL, can't wait to have a street princess

I have many collections of tools, these are my dads and he wanted them sold after he died so that I could have some $$$.

I don't have the room, nor the $ to keep the tools. These tools would cost me 100s to move when I move, I have no $ to move to begin with lol. These tools being sold (And the guy who wrecked my old FB paying me) will deliver me cash for a replacement for my old FB & give me the cash for moving

Oh and my old FB was stolen & wrecked - I didn't crash it, and my 1991 RX7 that was a rainy day avoiding a log or whatever the hell I can't remembe what I tried to avoid in the road, right after the car was spinning I never knew roads could be so slippery and now I drive MUCH slower on rainy days.

No more RX7's for me after I get this next one, atleast for along time.

Next goal is a oldschool like a RX3 or REPU. Smog sucks

I want a shop to do the entire car, I haven't figured out all what I want done yet.

My main concern is engine/driveline, as this cars got a 12a/automatic. I was already grown out of the 12a on my last FB, I've learned to push a vehicle that doesn't have tons of power as someone here told me to do...... it was great, hell I'd still have fun but

Street sleeper princess = ftmfw - I don't mind buying 91 octane and getting worse mileage because of a turbo streetport.

I'd love a widebody but regardless I'm keeping the car as sleeper looking as can, and I want it as legal as possible under the hood.

though rajah's forums keep making me think of a piston swap..... hopefully I don't enter the dark side

Any suggestions you guys have? I was thinking of a mild streetport turboII swap s4 and run the good rtek.... or should I pay a shop to go another route? The car wont be tracked/autocrossed for awhile just will be a zippy turbo

No lawyer

About the case
Guy pleaded guilty the 4th

I got worried da didnt get my email or was ignoring me and lied...

Checked our emails, I noticed it was sent to a weird address (He sent from like uh.... DAO-gov.blah.ca) crazy address I'm a system admin and it looked odd to me, like they use a central outgoing mail server.

Anyways so I used his "alias" address and wham he replied on monday 2 days later told me all the news and such, I emailed him back asking stuff but he hasnt once again ( I used his alias address like before ) maybe he takes awhile or is ignoring me again I hoep not

He asked for records on how much the car cost, what I put into it (parts and such) and the cost of the towing/storage and any other costs this caused me and he'll request the court gets me that exact amount.

Their big concerns are the cost of the car and the costs 2 me of it being wrecked. Imagine it as kids go drunk bashing your windows, we were drinking they took the car after I went dozed off.... dumb *** should of known better dnt drink and drive, esp a car that will spin at any contact of water lol - didnt have winter tires on yet I almost put them on 3 days before too

They wont even need me to go into court or anything, I just need to show him some sort of proof (Probably electronically) however I'm not sure how to get proof from the rims or the car, the paper had 2000 as the price paid, I paid 2,700 however. I guess I gotta have the original owner contact them, and the guy I bought the rims off of? Both are very respectable men, older.

I'm not even asking much, rims were 400, car was 2,700 **** for that car in that quality and such thats not bad

Anyways yes I was going to contact Paul. I don't really want to contact him again until I have $$$ and can say it with pride, I've contacted him in the past about manual swapping the FC i used to have, and I never ended up having the $$$ and the car got wrecked.

I guess I can, I mean I got 15grand worth of tools, people are actually looking at buying them (Selling for 8-10grand, lower because i dont have the time to clean up the tools and count them all up whats missing and such not) the tool box I saw going on 6grand on ebay in worse condition so 8-10grand is a steal.

Just waiting, just waiting. I left one guy a voice mail, the other said his family members looking for the tools, and he'll let him know

wish me luck someone buys, I don't got the space for this tool set been sitting outside with a tarp over it for years, to a warm garage they deserve
