Thanks man.

So far, I'm 4 for 4 in CSP. At the last race though, a 2nd gen MR2 really gave me a run for my money. I expect he'll be even tougher next time, because he'll be expecting me rather than letting me surprise the hell out of him. lol.

That was easily one of the best courses I've ever driven, aside from being the longest. Fastest times were around 90 seconds. It had a really nice variety of tight, technical sections and other areas where you could really open it up.

On the back half of the course, they had a set of offset gates to slow you down a little. However, they were just wide enough for an fb to rip straight through at wide open throttle.

The black and white 7 belongs to Perfect_circle who stops in here quite regularly. The exhaust he is running is the one I wish I had; Mindtrain. By far the coolest rotary exhaust I've heard.

I haven't been doing a whole lot of in-car video lately. In fact, I don't think I've done any at all since last summer. I like the outside views better, myself. But hey, if you guys like 'em, I'll shoot 'em. Lately we've actually had enough cameras at the races that I could probably do both, rather than having to choose one or the other. The thing I'm really lacking though is the time needed to edit and post the videos. I've still got footage from several other races that I haven't even started on yet.

The next race that I will definitely be attending is on August 9th.

Looked like quite a fun course, but also challenging. Just the way I like them.
What's with the quiet rotaries??????? Around here, when I'm on the course, or another guy with his SP FC NA, they here us very well. When the BP 20B miata is on the course, no one hears much else for a few minutes.......
Fortunately, we run inside a horse track that is walled off from the rest of town, or at the dragstrip, so no one complains.

lol, that was a quiet bunch of rotaries that day. Usually we have Nick (Man in Black) running with us, and his car will make your ears bleed. We also have usually have a RX3 with a Supertrapp muffler that is extremely loud, but is an awesome car, but he was driving the red 2nd gen in that video...

Rotary + Supertrap = hearing loss.
The BP 20B is "muffled" by a Supertrap....... HUH??????? WHAT?????? Hang on, let Doug finish his run.
Andy's FC has 2 magnaflow's attempting to reduce the noise. They don't work. Even inline.
Mine has a single "Fart cannon", and it does ok, until I hit about 4K, then all heck breaks loose.

lol, my RB exhaust sounds sooo nice from inside the car. But watching my co-driver make his runs at autocross, I was amazed by how quiet it is from the outside of the car.

And here I was letting off the gas whenever I saw a cop, so he wouldn't pull me over for loud exhaust. lmao. No wonder cops don't seem to notice me!

LOL. Mine actually sounds quieter inside the car at 4K+ than it does under 4K. Outside, it's a different story.
Maybe I'll get around to installing that RB presilencer I bought with the header, and see if that helps. It certainly can't hurt.

Thanks man.

Most of the cars were running in 1st gear, staying on a tight course close to the cones. I took a slightly different aproach, using a wider line, a little more "swooping" if you know what I mean. Anyway, I ran in 2nd gear using all of the track available and it seems to have paid off.

I really like the courses that give you options like that, rather than being so confining that there is no room for any creativity. It sure was fun....
