I m quite interested to know if parts that have different numbers (e.g. 8871- and FA01-), are actually the same or practically the same with little modifications.

Bonnet, Rear and front fenders, doors

doors
hood (engine lid)
nose panel between headlights
headlight covers
grille over wipers
sunroof panel (1980+)

fr and rear fenders are similar, but not directly interchangeable without modification around bumper fitment

the dash will also interchange seats head liners too

 

Careful about the sunroof. I've seen a lot of S1s in particular with weird aftermarket or dealer-installed sunroofs.
