Hey Choop, I've been scanning a lot of RotaryDude's manuals and would be happy to scan your stuff into some Adobe PDF files. I'd also like a shot at your RE badge for the RX-2, as it's the same as what I need for my REPU.

Good News,
I took one of the docs to work today and it scanned pretty nice. It has been emailed to BWAITS and he will be loading it up. It will be pretty big, 14 pages. It is fun to read through as the forms were meant for a piston engine.
I appreciate the offer for $20, but I would never take money from anyone on the forum to share this stuff. It will all eventually be loaded up on the site.
Thanks

ok looked at the cool as scans, now knowing that these documents were submitted on what date? Interesting that it would try to show chassis 25 as having been built in March of 78 when it should be 2/78.
Next question I have for you on the orig docs do you have the pictures in color? what color is the rx7

The 77 REPU parts manual is another thing - the truck was already a dismal failure and we've never seen a paper hardcopy of the FSM for the last year. All we've found is the microfiche, which I scanned at a library. For every page, I had to refocus and it took FOREVER to get it all scanned in. Because several pages had poor focus, they turn to mud when you try to compress them at all. So, the large file is in its native file size and is a behemoth. In the end, though, not many guys are even gonna need it and 1.6GB isn't what it used to be.
Thanks for the support guys, and let me, bwaits, Sgt Fox or rotarydude know when y'all come across this stuff.

They are not actual photos, but it seems to be the light green color. (i am color blind though)
I will try to get more scanned soon and sent over. This was the first one that shows the car in stock dimensions, the second pamphlet details the daytona car and reflects any thing different from the stock config.
Just curious, were you the one I was bidding against on ebay for the SA NOS Moldings and NOS 79 limited badges?
I am almost caught up at work, so will try to get some more stuff scanned and sent to Billy. Thanks everyone for your help.
Crit, did you still need a REPU tailgate?

I found that interesting also that they claim production started on 3/78 and VIN 500025. It might be worth looking in the registry that they claim 8k cars were built by 4/1, and to see how accurate that is also.

I know that they were building US and JDM cars at the same time or at least in the same months, could be that they numbers they are talking about are for total Chassis? I don't have my production info in front of me but I would love to see a pic of your data plate. If you look at my avatar you will see what I mean
