Holy tight course Batman!!!

That looked more like gymkana than autocross. Well done, whatever it was that you were doing.

Man, you guys get a whole lot of room to play! That looked more like a Solo I course than Solo II. I'll bet it was a fun course to run.

I absolutely love Riverside. One of the best Solo locations in the state, if not THE best.

I spent a lot of time (and tread life) at the practice sessions this summer, they set up two courses and have unlimited runs all day. Just occasionally **** cones if it gets too out of hand.

80's, I'll be at most of the TAMSCC events with A&M's Grassroots Challenge car, we've got a white EG that's finishing up the final phases of testing. We're getting in our used tires this week, and it's time to go racing. I don't know if I'll be here on the 20th, but we'll have the car out there. We go to competition two weeks after that.

I will definitely be there on the 20th... What kind of tires do you need or are getting?? What size do you need??

I'm good on tires for a while. I had a second set for my Civic, but I'm not autocrossing that thing any more. I've gotten to the point where it needs more mods to be fun, it's largely stock. I'd rather spend all my mod-money on getting the RX7 running, and then competitive in SSM, than buy new springs and sways for the Civic when it won't be competitive anyways.

On a related note, if you know anyone that needs some 205/50/15 DZ101s with about 70% tread left, I'm getting rid of some.

OK, just wondering...when I bought my Silver RX that I am autocrossing, it used to be an old ITA car. I have 5 new SETS of 205/60/15 Yokos that i will NEVER be able to use.

They work....ok....only ok...for autocrossing, but they are good for me learning on. I plan on buying new Hoosier A6's for next years season.

Normally CSP... Does the A&M club have classes like SCCA? I have only raced at Riverside annex with the Spokes club. I have never raced with the TAMSCC...

Yes, they usually use the current SCCA classes, with a Novice class added given the A&M affiliation.

Wow, I think I've just seen the tightest and largest autocross courses ever! Ours here are pretty open, with me occasionally getting into third and often times second gear redline's.

They are Yokohama A-008R tires. Yokohama has not made these in a few years. They are still hooking well and are great for learning to Autocross on... I am now getting more competitive and it is time to step up to a full Hoosier race tire.

I have two full sets of those....another full set of Yokohama R rated rain tires and Some Bridgestone R rated tires. They are all NEW and have been stores inside properly.

I would make a great deal for someone wanting some aggressive practice tires.
