I have some dry rotted ones, but usable ones are going to be hard to find.

I'm afraid they're unobtanium. But if you find some, please let us know!

The only tires you may be able to find are legend racing series tires. Not sure they have the RWL on
them still but its one avenue to try.

Some new Kumho street tires + a white paint pen = 80s tire style goodness

I am seeing allot of local autocrossers doing this with their tires.

Don't know how long the new stuff lasts. But I am seeing white, silver and even yellow lettered tires now. I guess the white letter look is back in style.

Back in the day......like in the late 70s.....I colored in the lettering on the family truck using a tire paint stick. It didn't last that long

Thats funny. My buddy and I used to do the same thing on our tires about the same
time frame. And no it didn't last worth a damn. Only looked good for about a day or
maybe a week.

a buddy of mine used some white tire paint on his rx3 last year and it looked pretty good. not sure how long he had it on prior but it was a few weeks before i had the chance to take a look at it...it was turning just slightly brownish/yellowish after that long...so not that bad i thought. definitely lasted longer than a day or a week though.

What about import tires? I understand that there are sizes of new manufacture from Europe than can be bought but how would you get them imported.

The shipping would be more than the cost of the tires. Not sure they have RWL in europe either.
I know some Mini guys that have to get their 10 and 12 inch tires from europe, its their only option.

A buddy of mine just used a white Sharpie. Took him a while, but a lot cheaper. Not sure on longevity but interesting and looks good so far!

Let us know how the white sharpie thing works as the tires age and are used. May be our only
option soon.
