Question on ORIGINAL SA coloring... Grille?

Did I say "overshot?" More like, it got painted when the car was done.
Luckily, it's molded from some pretty rugged stuff; the plastic ignores paint remover if you don't leave it on too long. Which is more than I can say for my nitrile shop gloves - - the stripper went thru them like Mongols through Poland.
Finished product after two evenings of working with stripper, and then a little silicone bath:

That piece is tuff as nails....I think that grill and cockroaches would survive a nuclear blast!
I sanded the one on my autocross car because the PO painted it silver. I used a rattlecan of satin black to fix her up.
Luckily the one on my SA22 has never been touched..
