That's a completely diffrent setup on a completely diffrent car. T3 riser goes on top of the camber plate. And then the whole thing is installed under the shock tower.

Here a picture I found online. Only they didn't use a riser. The riser is only needed if the car sits too low.

Quote from above T3 link

secondary possible use for these is to mount above the strut tops and gain travel on the shock.

So you built your coilover setup and used MR2 rear shocks or such. At the height you want it to sit at, you are just out of travel on the shock!

You can move your camber plates to the top of the strut tower, and use these riser plates in between to gain over about 5/8" more travel on the shock.

To run them this way, you will need our reinforcement plates as well (the black plates). They will go under the strut tower and make sure the camber plate bolts can not pull throught the strut tower.

Got you not big into T3 parts and would have never read that if not for you. Would have never thought of running them that way. Now does that make the car lower?

This is the first we've seen of this. Our RX7 does not have those ridges in the top of the strut tower. It is flat just like the pic heynoman posted. I'm sorry for the trouble, we would have been happy to machine the grooves in the bottom of the riser plate for you. I'm glad you got it sorted!

OP should have contacted T3 directly and let them know and allow them
to fix it. Not post up on a forum immediately like this. This is a small company
making some nice parts for our cars, show some respect.

It's all good. It's all a learning opportunity for us at T3. The RX7's a tricky chassis, as there were so many changes made over the course of the SA-FB run.
