Pics of the new house and the cars

Beautiful place, you and the missus should be proud indeed. You've got the best kind of neighbors, too... distant.
That's a front porch that cries out for a rocking chair.

thanks for the compliments guys! we got a great deal on the house and couldn't pass it up. its 2410sq/ft with a 1000sq/ft basement and site on 3 acres. house appraised for $260,000 and we picked the thing up on a short sale for $180,000. killer deal if there ever was one out there!
well, no front porch swing, but i did just refinish my favorite bench from the old house. i have one more to do. the porch wraps entirely around the house with an enclosed sun porch on the back of the house so i find multiple benches a necessity. that and i like the benches.... but a porch swing will also make a nice addition to the porch. here's a pic of the bench that i refinished on thursday. it sits on the side of the house:

Good luck with the new home, looks like a beautiful, secluded property with plenty of shade and space for just about anything you'd want. Have fun with it, congrats on the deal as well!
Ill have to find some time and check out the new place. Although I wont go both ways in 1 day again lol. Another good thing about seclusion is your neighbor wont borrow the lawn mower anymore.
How about some inside pics.

Nice looking place Dave! I love the old growth trees. They are awesome. If you ever decide to follow thru on the Rx-7 meet idea let me know. I'd definitely like to come, even if I'm not able to drive Gus to it.
nice place .... bet you have a lot of hood bird crap to deal with
