thank you.

installed a backstop for my shooting range over the weekend. seemed to work well as we had shot explosive canisters that were unable to penetrate the backstop. next up would be a small shooting pad with a roof and a bench. from there the possibilities are endless. once it stops raining i will post some more exterior shots of the house. may post some interior shots tomorrow.

It's not illegal to discharge a firearm in the city/county limits?

I'd like to see the shooting range, if no one else asks! I also live in the country and we can go in my back yard and shoot clays over the farm field in my back yard - permission from the owner and all! A friend of ours has about a 50yd stretch to shoot in his wooded back yard and that's actually quite long in woods like that. Hell, a nice bench, good gun, decent glass or sights, and a few buddies and that makes anywhere fun to shoot.

perfectly legal out here. we are not inside of any city limits. not by about 7 miles. so because we have no neighbors behind us, it becomes legal to shoot.

Yeah, but what about the party? Dave, you said early May. (PS, invite the neighbors).

Nice place, I covet the garage. Someday.

well guys the meet will be May 26th. i know most of you will not be able to make it due to the distance, but everyone is invited. i have plenty of space and it will be a good time indeed!

Glen, neighbors don't mind the shooting..though one guy stopped by the other day and asked why there were explosions behind my house. he thought that a gas stove had exploded. we were shooting explosive containers.. some weird stuff a gun nut buddy brought by. guy said that he didn't mind, but that he was mildly concerned.

Ed, there will be another gold LS in my driveway some day. i have the car picked out and its local. i'm just waiting on the guy to cave and sell me the car, lol.

Those dogs are annoying as hell lol. You've got your priorities all backwards though Dave, The FC and silly German thing should be sitting outside, and the FB should have the garage all to itself...

the **** rocket's sunroof leaks and i spent some good money on those seats so it has to be garaged... the 10AE has always been garaged since i've owned it. helps to preserve whats left of the ratty paint that's on there. the FB will have garage space very soon though.

its not too bad. its pitch black out here for sure and lots of creepy bug and animal sounds. but we have lights all around the house and the porch is fully lit all the way around so it helps take away that haunted house feel.

PA Meeting at Dave's house

Sorry to hear that you changed the date as I was good to go this Saturday. Unfortunately on June 9 I will be with team Law and Order on a 150 mile charity bicycle ride for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society that weekend. If you or anyone else would like to sponsor me here is the link:
