Damn, but you're fast; I barely had time to look at my pix last night, and you've already got hunnerts up on line.

You got some very nice shots there, Mike. I envy you both your camera, and that sweet red cherry ride you brought. Beautifully clean and correct car!

I'm glad I got to know you (and Kris, and also Alan, and Raul, and a few other nice folks) some, and it was great fun sticking around for that "murderer's row" photo shoot after.

I'm sunburnt like a firggin' lobster!

Back at ya Glen -- I learned a bunch from our conversations yesterday and appreciate you sharing so many details of your learnings throughout the years. Next time let's talk UNDER the umbrella. I could barely sleep last night for the sunburn on my arms and neck.

Lot of fun hanging with the boyz at the show. Looking forward to being together again at SevenStock this weekend.

Pure aloe gel is the best thing I've ever found for sunburn. Feels gross going on, but it kills the sting within a couple minutes & dries pretty quick.

Slept like a baby last night.

No, I did not have my plaque under my pillow.

It was on the dresser where I could see it better, heh.

I'm working to get my pix up in photobucket.

This SHOULD be a a slideshow link...

I haven't pruned it yet, so there's a lot of near-repeats.

Was a big show; about 400 cars on display, they said. Around a dozen RX-7's all together.

I bought the kit years ago, off of e-bay. The base is part of a display case from model makers; the can lights and gas pump light up.

I painted the model using K8 touchup paint, and did up the interior to match my real-car upholstery.

It's even got a tiny repro of my yellow-on-blue license plate, which I made full-scale and then reduced on a color laser printer.

It was nice to finish in the 'money,' I will admit. Nothing like a little recognition & affirmation to make you feel all glowy & special.

Hey Adrian; it was nice to have met you even if only briefly. Thanks for the congrats; at least it wasn't a leg-shaped lamp!
