OGTA at Crit and Dena's Lake House, May 22, 2010
The third time was certainly a charm this year. Crit and Dena’s 3rd Annual OGTA at the Lake House was just plain a whole lotta fun. Good food, good folks, good weather and Lots of Wankels. Plus, lots of Out-of-Staters, which always makes things interesting. Especially when the one who keeps putting pistons in RX-7’s showed up in an absolutely sweet FB with its 12A still intact.
Kent and wife Micki popped in from up in Virginia:

Trey the N.C. piston man and his return to basics:

Angel brought his family down from S.C., with his newly purchased RX-3 in tow:

And Tim and wife Tina came on down from N.C.

Here’s a few more random shots, you other folks who had cameras please add to the list!

Aftermarket add on, no doubt. Not the way the Mazda engineers were thinking.

Still that's one sweet FB in the rough, might be enough to get Trey off the pistons if he follows his instincts

Gonna' make a nice car in the next few months

Sam you and bunch of your Carolina buddies came down to the first one of these OGTA weekend meetings and helped make it a big success.
Remember, that December meeting back in '07, the one where you guys pulled Stu's carb out of the car and started playing with it? Be good to see you and one of your cool cars again.

It's a diamond in the rough, Trey will have that thing looking showroom in no time. I just hope he doesn't drop a V8 into it.
Michael yep, that was the meeting you guys caravaned down to from the Carolina's:

Ray, I wish that I would have kept the SA, but the turbo FB is running O so hard. I have put almost a 1000 miles on the 9.4 turbo engine. I will never put a Rotary engine together again without cryo apex seals. This one should last for a long time. I built this one to take on long trips. A run down to your place would be a good drive
