Looks sexy in white and blue, got one in black, and speaking of collections mine is packed away at the moment but once we get moved I'll try to remember to post a pic of mine, been collecting since I was like 4. Glad to see some more Hot Wheels collectors on the board.
it would take me over an hour to set my collection up.. it takes up my entire living room floor... all are still in the packages and i have them in multiple large boxes. maybe i'll do this on sunday when i'm free if anyone is interested in seeing the collection. as for 7's i have two blue and one black hot wheels. i also have two original SA's in the package from 1981. they are matchbox though. i can dig those out and post a pic as well if anyone is interested.

One of the attactions at the Japanese Classic Car Show yesterday in Long Beach as an appearance by Jun Imai... the designer at Hot Wheels who did the new 2012 SA cars.
I came away from meeting him with these, autographed:

Oh, and this car was there:

Yeah it's a JDM RHD 'FB' by our terms where it should be an S1 or "SA". They also left the number stickers off... but if you look closely at the Hot Wheels, the JDM Legends stickers are clearly there.

I collected from 95 till about 2008. I have over 7000 Hotwheels still in packages and about 400 opened and displayed in end units. I was really BIG into them and have some that are worth a few hundred dollars each....
I stopped collecting because Mattel just flooded the market and eBay killed the hobby....To many people go to the stores and buy them just to sell them on eBay... Damn scalpers....ruined a good thing....
It was MUCH cheaper buying Hotwheels than building my GSL-SE or my FD..
couldn't agree more about Mattel flooding the stores with them.. there used to be a limited number of first editions and treasure hunts and now there are over 100 first editions each year and the treasure hunt series looks like crap..along with most of their other series that they release. just not that fun to collect anymore. i just buy the cars that i like now, instead of buying the complete sets for that particular year.

. Wish me luck, to bad they don't come in silver
