Considering the "Scan & Track on Back" on the package, I'd say it's new. And I will be rummaging through toy stores now.

I am an avid Hot wheels collector and have been patiently looking for a first gen might I ask what store you found it in? It looks pretty damn cool to.

Is that released yet? The only thing that I can find is that it is part of the 2012 line-up

Same thing I found after I went to Walmart this morning and trashed it lol.
I did come home with a Hot Wheels Christmas edition 240Z though!

They have diecast cars, shirts, and etc.

Put me on the list. I went to Wal-Mart and couldn't find it. I saw some other sweet old school Japanese cars though, so I may go back for them. I'll check around more tomorrow. If you purchased that one, is there anyway you could post a pic of the back, or any identification numbers that could be used to find it?
