thats sweet.. Is it like a old school hot wheels or do i need to take a trip to toys-r-us

Considering the "Scan & Track on Back" on the package, I'd say it's new. And I will be rummaging through toy stores now.

I am an avid Hot wheels collector and have been patiently looking for a first gen might I ask what store you found it in? It looks pretty damn cool to.

Walmart and I saw someone mention toys r us too.

That is awesome. It's for 3 year old's + so most of us are in.

already hinted to the wife, told her a stocking full of them would be just fine lol

I'm hoping they release additional colors. My buddy is a coordinator at Target he agreed to let me raid there backstock !!!!

actually you can still once in a while find a 1/24 model, they'll be a daytona blue one when I have time lol

i'm also an avid hot wheels and 80's toy collector. i have a hot wheels collection that amasses near 1000 sealed cars. i have collectors sets and treasure hunts and a lot of other limited edition stuff.. i thought my collection was near complete...until today. you bet you asses that i'll buy EVERY one i see. thank you for posting!

Tore up walmart at 1230 last night, and just returned from target.. they must not be out yet! Can't find a release date either. Jibaro did you buy the one you posted?

Put me on the list. I went to Wal-Mart and couldn't find it. I saw some other sweet old school Japanese cars though, so I may go back for them. I'll check around more tomorrow. If you purchased that one, is there anyway you could post a pic of the back, or any identification numbers that could be used to find it?

i tried the hotwheels website. there's old school chevy's, ford's, and pontiac's, even a datsun bluebird 510 but no rx7.
