New DD... another turbo

So, winter is thinking of leaving us in the NE and letting the rotaries come back out to play.

My car is being painted this week and I will post pictures as soon as I get them.

Meanwhile, I picked up a manual 335i with the sport and the tech package to act as my DD. This is to replace my M3 that I sold a year ago.

First I have to say, this car can move and handles like it is on rails. The car is smooth and comfortable enough on the bumps but corners flat and has no lack of power when you need it. Black with cream interior, 30k miles Factory+CPO. I may have just found the worlds greatest DD. My M3 had the competition package and no options. It was a pretty harsh ride.

Now, I want to race the RX-7 against the 335. I know the RX-7 would beat it in a straight line, but in the corners the BMW will kill the RX-7 .

My girlfriend took some pictures of the car this weekend and I will post them as soon as I download them.

Nice! I can't wait to get my WB back that is currently getting painted Mazda Titanium Grey (Spirit R) so I can take pictures of them together. Meanwhile, my girlfriend lost her camera cable in our recent move, so I have to figure out how to get those pictures of the coupe.

My car had Dinan software on it from the previous owner, but the dealership removed it in order to put the CPO on it. They still have it and said they can put it back on for a discounted price. They never told me what that price was, but I don't know if I want to go down that road as I already have a severely modified FB and this car will never see track time.
