My tiny RX7????
Like most people, my garage is so crammed with sh .... stuff that I only have room for the Rx7. It snowed for the first time yesterday here in Toronto so I thought its time to put the Audi in the garage too. I moved my '68 BMW bike out and really reorganized everything until room could be made. After I parked the Audi I was quite shocked how diminutive the Rx7 is compared to a current car. The Audi looks so tall and ungainly in comparison even though it isn't, actually quite beautifully proportioned when viewed by itself. The Rx7 is also surprisingly wide, as wide as the 5 passenger wagon. The Audi is some 3 feet longer than the Rx7 but that's to be expected.

the RX-7 is a fairly small car when compared to newer larger vehicles. i bought my wife a 2011 Toyota Sienna and when parked next to it, the 7 looks incredibly small. on the other hand, my 94 Corvette is larger on the outside, but the 7 has far more interior room. you really never can have a garage that's large enough. there are always going to be things you want to buy and keep indoors.. your 7 looks beautiful by the way!! the IMSA spoiler and the mudflaps really go together nicely! i would love to see more pics of that car!

My Dad bought the car new in 1985 when I was 18 and he did let me drive it an awful lot. It hasn't seen any dreaded winter salt and was dealer undercoated as well. When I installed the rear seats off an early model Fc I noticed some storage bin rust and treated it. The car was stripped to bare metal and repainted last year. Currently has about 72k miles and doesn't get driven nearly enough!

I have a 95 Mustang at the moment (will be given to the fiance soon, not a fan of the car) and when I park the 7 next to it the 'Stang dwarfs the little thing. Not to mention the weight differences, the 7 is 2,500ish pounds and the Mustang is 4,500 pounds and like mazdaverx13b said earlier, the interior feels bigger in the 7 than in the Mustang!

The flaps are more stiff than flexible, quite substantial and work well to keep the car clean. But I should clarify that they are probably from the LS model which celebrated the 10th anniversary of Mazda in North America and not the 10th anniversary Rx7/Fc model.

love the braaaap
I've found the 1st gens have a lower than average roofline, even compared to similar small sporty 2 seat coupes. Its lower than the Porsche 924 of the time even, but just as wide. Even in stock form they have a very low center of gravity, which is why they tend to fare so well on the track I think, much closer to a true race car height than many other cars of the day straight out of the box, with a fairly wide stance as well which is something other cars of similar height lacked, such as the MGB.

We have BPM and thats a tax that you pay over new cars or cars that are imported but you get an discount on that
I don't know so much about the costs but this is what i found for an example
example for an 2006 tahoe
BPM berekenen Chevrolet Tahoe LS | AutoWeek BPM rekenmodule. - AutoWeek.nl
so when you should import this car you would pay 15.525 euro (20466 us/dollar) over the price you pay for the car en transportation etc.
