My new daily driver.
That dash actually looks pretty cool. I'd ditch the red seats and carpet though. I dig it though. Maintain it and it should last a while. My dad had a 99 Plymouth Voyager with the Mitsu 2.4 4 cylinder in it and that thing ran for almost 200K before he traded it in with only a timing belt and water pump being replaced just as preventative maintanence
nah i found some metal specs in the oil so i dropped the pan and plastigauged the rod bearing's and they are out of spec buy .001 so it was getting ready to spin a bearing. No biggie will drop in the long block pull the crank on the other re-grind and get some clevite's in there. I will snail the other one. gonna be a monster if i twin a 10:1 motor
Don't get me wrong i love fb's but i was just getting a little tired of trying to make it something its not. That's why if i get another one it will stay stock. I am also looking at a fd.

The 7 smells like ****... and my DD smells like fried chicken...
A quick question though, my friend works flat rate, and IMO this is garbage. Plus, he gets charged if something breaks on a car he works on. Is that normal? I mean I can see if he actually breaks something by stupidity, but what if a bolt is rusted and snaps, or something is already in bad shape and breaks? He has to pay for it, which, IMO, is nucking futs.
More power to you if you're willing to deal with that crap, but I'll stick to driving a powered industrial truck for $40k a year.

and the only thing i have to par for is a rim or center cap.. lol (if they break/ get damaged) youd be surprised at the amout of idiots that try to blame curb rash on our tire removal/installing machines..as for DD's... while my 7 is down ive been driving this.. it was my first real (real as in owned & payed for by me) car.. 1995 thunderbird.. ive had 4 MN12's (89-97 thunderbirds and cougars..) and out of the 4.. ive babied this one and ive dumped all my money into keeoing it going.. the other 3 i beat the **** out of and they just kept coming.... heres a pic of my POS DD.. with tranny problems galore and the most wonderful 2 cylinder missfire..
when i first got it...
before
motor
and here it is after 9 months of DD use and its tarting to show its age.. by falling apart...
after
after 2

Like i said you cant make it into something its not unless you spend a crap ton of cash. Which i did spend a crap ton of cash and i was left with a once in awhile car. It still rocked but it was not up to par with what i wanted. The next will stay stock and just be what it is a 7.
