i know most of you are out of state but as always, the invitation is open and i can provide accommodation if need be. part of the reason that i am posting this here. i haven't met a lot of you guys and wanted to extend the invitation. as always, i like to post this in advance, so for those who are wanting to attend can make the necessary arrangements. the meet will be held at my place in Vermilion OH on 6-22-13 and will start in the early afternoon, say noon. i will provide some food and drink and the means to prepare the food. anything extra brought by attending persons would be much appreciated. i'm usually stocked up on soda and water. we usually grill burgers, brats, hot dogs, steaks etc.

this year i wanted to incorporate something a tad different. i plan on supplying a 12A engine so that you guys can play with it and disassemble it. also if anyone attending has not tore a rotary engine down, i feel this would be a fun and positive experience. if anyone would like, the shooting range is open and all are encouraged to do some shooting. bring your own guns or use one of mine. i have been planning a little different cruise route from last year's routes. a little longer and more back road driving pleasure. as always, car repairs are welcome at my place and i offer my help working on anything anyone decides to bring. i have enough tools and feel we can take on any job presented. as always there will be parts giveaways and plenty of parking and moving room!

I'd be there in a heartbeat except its 8+ hours one way for me. Sounds like a great time!

hey, i have a pretty decent sized house..we can put you guys up for the night.. Alaska may be pushing it Stu, i understand. but the invitation stands if you change your mind. i'd even pick you up at the airport!!

 

I must regretfully decline - a major project of the wife's (she's starting a business) will eat my vacation time this year, and I'm looking at a diff swap before I undertake any more long-distance driving in the -7.

Options open up in latter years, though, and I'd love the adventure. Perhaps in future?

The forecast is looking good for Saturday so I better put some gas in the RX-7 because I know I can't make it to your place on the fumes that are in the tank right now. Do you need me to bring anything that will survive 3 hours in my un-airconditioned car?
