Going with the next size wider tire might take care of your rear brake bias.

If tire is being changed all around to the same size, I don't see how. If I staggered them maybe (205 front, and 225 rear)

If you do run staggered, let me know how it is. I wouldn't mind having wider tires on the rear.

Really don't plan too but might have too ... we'll see how the fronts go. But i'd rather not stager them, from talking to a few guys on the track, its alot easier adjusting tire pressures with just same all around. And also I'm afraid to make the car understeer again with more rubber in the back than the front. But I'll let you know by next week.

I've heard of some pretty bizzare results from running staggered tires. But then again, Orion made it back from Deals Gap in one piece...

Well my times are finally up, not the quickest still, but still managed to be a full second quicker than last year at a personal best of 1:36.55, can't wait to get the r compound tires and see what she does. Atleast I have a baseline now for seeing how much tires can do. Unfortunatly the next event for that track won't be till August 23, but it will totaly be worth it. Also I hope to have my whole cold air rigged up.

I can't drive eh? Yeah I guess someone that drives for a living wouldn't know what the hell he was doing right? :P You think your so darn funny dontcha? I'll show you.

Definitely don't go staggered. It makes the car twitchy and a little nerve racking around corners.

Forgot to mention, I went out today and bought 2 of those speed secrets books:

Speed Secrets: Professional Race Driving Techniques

Speed Secrets 2: More Professional Race Driving Techniques

Should be a good start up for reading material. Thanks j9fd3s for the recommendations again.

The other option is an adjustable rear sway bar such as the Suspension Techniques one.

Are you saying to use to fix braking problems or fixing the problem of staggered wheels?

I'll try to pick that one up in a month or so. I don't really golf though but we'll see if it engineers me into a better driver though

I'm a little late on update with this, but I left off last year with a 1:30.067, almost breaking that 1:30 barrier, but to put it in perspective, the really quick guys out there are in the 1:20 -1:23. With more power I bet I can easily shave 3 seconds, so can't wait for the supercharger.

we took 3 seconds off our best time @thunderhill by going from the R888 to the hankook middle compound...

there is more too, the hankook needs a totally different setup...
