a lesson on not buying a car from a kid
On later versions of Firefox, 3.5 and up, the activity indicator is not shown on the top toolbar. This can be fixed by right clicking on the toolbar, and selecting customize. Once you are in the Customize Toolbar window, just drag the activity indicator to where ever you want it.
Mine displays on the current FF 3.5, I furgered out how to do it. Just followed the instructs on your tutorary.
I took a video of the little guy spinning around, will post when it gets uploaded (alas, the Rotor Throbber doesn't do anything for YouTube or Photobucket).

reisama,
You sound like you are at the lowest point of the project but you are 1/2 way through. Stick it out, it will get better soon. When you get that car on the road and everything right, the feeling is something that not even $$$ can buy. And you'll have allot of it from what saved from not getting a new car. Cannibalizing and pimping parts on e-bay will give you allot more!!
Left tail lights, have you seen what Black Dragon/Victoria British wants for one!!!

Guys, I think i own you an apology.
This topic was meant more of as a joke, runt and just to show my restoration process of an rx-7.
The part about kids was just a bit of failed humor i tried to throw in there. I have nothing against 19years olds, younger or older. I am not much older myself
Sorry for having offended so many of you with it. Will pick my worlds better next time.
However with all said and done, I would never buy the car from this person again
I found the car for sale on the internet for $500, listed the way i showed you 2 days after i bought an 1990 GTU. So this made a 3rd rx-7 in my garage. I went to inspect it, i arrived, half the car was covered in snow with around a meter of snow around it. I was able to check the car before buying it, i knew the floors would need to be redone, and the motor changed. WAS ready for that. I bought it anyways knowing that it was a GREAT deal for that car.
To the guys who told me i needed to check the car better, can you please tell me how you can check ignition wires/coils, break master cylinder, clutch cylinder? Or how to check for a leaking transmission, if the car is not in working condition?
I knew the problems that car had, and knew the pluses the seller listed, but i never expected that the plus he listed where false. You also can't check condition of the clutch on a none working engine.
On top of all the issues i listed in my first post, there where some very minor stuff that i forgot to mention. The cluster had an electrical break, the turn relay was fried, one of the shocks was not put in properly, the front wheels where not properly aligned. They where looking outward in the front instead of inward, the way they supposed to on a rear wheel drive cars.(not sure if i described it properly).
I agree you need to check the car before buying it, however when you buy a car with a non running engine there are some things that you can't check and have to take the sellers word for.
To end my thought, I was greatly misled my the information given to me by the seller, but am glad i bought it as i would not want to see that car get a v8.
Thanks for reading, and sorry once again for the inappropriate comment.
p.s. Anyone in montreal area who has a Dowel pin leak, i know a guy who can fix it within 24h without having to take the engine apart.

Naw reisma, we were having fun with you right from the beginning, everybody on this forum knows enough not to get offended by silly off handed comments like "don't buy a car from a kid"!
It's those Canadians you gotta watch out for!
Sounds like with 3 RX-7s in the garage you could get really busy, this is a great place to share the experience. And thanks for saving that FB from the V8.

Yes all Canadian cars are ****. Stupid salt and snow and **** weather. It's not our fault. Hopefully "Global warming" will turn southern Ontario into a tropical paradise within the next 30 years and I can finally bask in the sun in December.
