we're forgetting about some simple tools that could save your *** in case of an emergency:


to cut those heater hoses/vacuum lines/oil lines.



for multiple uses, the only thing better is duct tape for quick fixes.



to temporarily plug a vacuum port on the side of the road.


to temporarily hold your bumpers and other parts when they have fallen due to snow

and last but not least:

for all the other uses, such as fixing that lumpy idle at a stop light, or tightening up those heater/rad. hoses.

I'm dedicating an entire bin to my "emergency" kit. Included will be a couple screw drivers, small metric tool kit, small roll of primary wire, fuses, analog meter, flashlight, jumper cables, fix-a-flat, extra drive belt, electric tape, premix, misc. hose clamps, zip ties, couple rags, lighter, knife, flare, misc. nuts and bolts and a pair of dikes.
