It just has to be the love

You know party people, let me tell you it has to be for the love,,,,,
I'm talking about atleast my rx7. I have owned 9 and the one I currently own is the one I paid for the most and has given me the most problems. I've got just about everything fixed SO FAR,
But in all practicality I should have sold this car along time ago and got something more reliable, and with less parts to replace...
But I love my car, and everytime she lets me down,,,, I get upset, but when that person at the gas station stops and looks at my car and says WOW thats nice, is that a rotary engine.... I smile and get a good feeling inside, and that last about,, till I go to the auto parts store and have to by more stuff for my baby/////
But it's for the love
Just my thought for the day

Talking

sooo true!.. i just got a new one a few days ago, it wasn't the most expensive one.. yet... haha but she is running one one rotor, so i a bought another fb fo the motor, and im possibly picking up another one for a parts car, haha .. that will be my fifth! my first... ugh lots of issues.. then blew an apex seal, put a new motor in... then more problems, so i sold her for a more reliable car since she ended up costing me my job twice!(first time was when the motor blew) so here i am 3 years later with the itch for a new fb.... so what do i do... i sell my DD which has been good to me for a year now.. to buy an fb with no motor to buy another to pull and put in... but you know what. i am SO F"N EXCITED that in about a week im going to be takin corners sideways in my 85 gsl!!!!!! ahhhhhhhhhh ! and every day .. i still start her up and sit in her and rock out to some metal thinking about the day that we will be driving! ITS THE LOVE!

Absolutely. I've had my 7 considerably longer than I've had my wife, and until you've had your woman decide she has to compete with your car for your attention, you've never truly been married.

It is good times when she decides that you spend more time with your hobby then you do her.

I don't suggest it if you can get away with it.

Haha. I have had a girl try to compete with my car. Never worked out for her.

Way I see it, you have to work hard to be happy with a girl... but with the car, just push the gas.

If I could find a girl that understands the mystical triangles...she would be a keeper for sure.

Oh, my wife has mellowed toward "that damned car" over the years. Only time I ever really screwed up (as mentioned previously) was when she heard me call the car "my twenty-something Japanese girlfriend."

That... got uncomfortable.

I have more pictures of my car than my girlfriend and She's much more attractive than my car. I also have spent more money on my car than her, and probably more total time spent together at this point. Gotta love these cars. Lucky she wants to own an RX3 someday so thats a plus!

everyone looks at me like i'm crazy when I say that I am in love with my car. It doesn't complain, it doesn't cost me much money, and it puts a smile on my face every time i see it. It's my perfect 23 year old japanese girlfriend (sorry, I had to steal it because it's so true, and asians are hot...)

Feel free.

Truth be told, I would have probably gotten less grief about that line if my wife wasn't Korean.
