JDM Legends' life size hot wheels RX-7

IF YOU BUILD IT, WE WILL COME: JDM LEGENDS RX-7 - Speedhunters

They had little time to get it ready for the Japanese Classic Car Show so the interior is still stock, but it's an IMSA GTU body kit and paint scheme with black and gold to look like the Hot Wheels car.

Saw it at JCCS. Nice paint.

Stock brakes & steering box with those tires/rims... that should be fun.

i just looked, and its running 15x10 and 15x11 which is big, but only 225/50/15's in the front, and 235/50/15 in the rear.

i'm running 225/45/15's on peepers....

that being said, they should just stop now, its cool as is, but to pull the interior out and make it a track car would ruin it

Wonder why they didn't put the number circles on it... kind of wrecks the scale-model look.

Cool looking reproduction. I wouldn't do it to my car, but kind of cool to see.

I'm thinking the opposite. The huge spoiler and aero bits look ridiculous just driving on the street, but are at home on the track.

Needs a 4 point or half cage intergrated with the factory interior, so its not too overwhelming, and period race seats.

And 400hp.

About the interior - not to be nitpicky - it's tan on the actual model. I own over 20 of them and you can see it in the guy's hand.

I think a full racing cage with almost bone stock brown interior would match with the car the best.

As far as racing it, it would be cool to say you drove a Hot Wheel on the track - isn't that what every young kid does on the floor for extended periods of time??

Love that Hotwheels have become lifesize over the last few years.

car is way too nice for the track. plus its not built as a race car, engine is stock for example.

i think its perfect as is, its cool.

Car is great I agree on the period seats, 4pt cage, and 400hp to finish her up really sweet car though. I do see a r&p upgrade in it's future.
