I wish i still had the car....

window sticker from my 1982 silver GSL and key chain, I think the key chains were from 1979 but the dealer had one and thru it in.
I would buy it back no matter the cost if I could find it..

Wow... I haven't seen much of that kind of paperwork before. I hope you do find it and get it back! Could you do a VIN search? It may not be free, but it may be worth looking into?

I was lucky enough the buy my car back after selling it
I was the second owner and had it for 5yrs.
Sold it to get a FD and regretted that.

The entry about "padded sunvisors" caught my eye - - I remember a lot of older cars where the sunvisor was basically a painted or textured piece of tempered hardboard.

Got any interior pics? Was the interior red? How many miles were on it in the pic and when you sold it?

That would at least show when or where it was last registered.

I traded the car in to a dealer in Salt Lake City in March of 1983,
I know that the car was sold to a guy in Idaho, I actually was in northern Utah 6 month later and saw it at a phone booth, crazy I know...

I paid for a cheepo 7 dollar car check and all it had was 5/12/1983 Idaho registration date with no mileage listed.

so its long gone and salvage records were not kept, or the report does not track every time it gets registered or its rotting away in he back lot..

does carfax give better info??

I would attach the report but the file is to large

CarFax is showing only one record for that car. You can type in any VIN and it'll tell you how many records are on there - but you have to pay to be able to check the records. It probably wouldn't be of any more help I don't think.
