I have a 12A engine taken out of my Pro7 race car. It ran when taken out, about 10 years ago and turns over on the bench. I also have a spare transmission in very good shape, 4 speed. How much are the engine and transmission worth? I am located about an hour north of San Francisco.

 

Depends on how many hours are on it since last rebuild. Also its coming out of a race car. I would guesstimate about $2-300 for the engine if it shows decent compression and things look good on the inside using a scope. The tranny maybe $100. The tranny is only a 4 speed which makes it not that in demand.
