So I am about a month into driving the RX7, and everyone’s tips have been a huge help in my learning how to drive the car.

Last week I drove it to work 3 days and the commute was a breeze, even with the start and stop on the beltline.

Once the car is warmed up, you don’t have to give any gas when going into 1st, ease off the clutch and it glides into 1st. The gearbox finds the gears with ease.

I am finally getting the rev matching, and figuring out the rpm range for best shifts.

Yesterday I nailed a sharp corner coming off the interstate, 4th to 3rd, and then rev matched to 2nd going into the turn and launched out...man was it awesome!

Driving this car is so much fun.

Be very careful with this or you'll end up sideways and possibly wrecking the car. When I was new to both RWD and stick I wish I understood the dynamics better. I never wrecked the car but a few close calls.

Oh let the boy have fun yeti. I learned to drive in rwd manual cars and trucks. As soon as I started driving fwd cars I understood the dynamic differences... fwd sucks.
