This seriously needs to be done by category, and even then it's tough to call in a lot of cases.

There have been a lot of really interesting and crazy rx7s over the years. I throw my hat in with DF's ride for an FB, Aaron Cake's for an FC, but there have been some impressive things go through here. One woman built herself a 2bbl sidedraft supercharged beast that impressed the hell out of me. Meticulous work and very unique. People have swapped in 2nd gen subframes front and rear, dropped every conceivable combination of engine, trans, rear end, fuel delivery and fuel induction system into these cars, and changed the bodies in ways that are so wild you can't even tell they're 1st Gens anymore.

Personally, any car where I can see that a lot of forethought and planning went into it along with the owner's own blood, sweat and tears will get a thumbs-up in my book. Even moreso if they've gone through the added pain of documenting it.

I don't think it's fair to say that one person's project is better or "more modified" than another's. It's enough just to appreciate the time, money, and effort that people have put into their rides. Even if I disagree with the choices another person has made on their car, if it fits their vision and they've put a lot of work into it, I'll still give them props for getting their hands dirty and building something that's truly their own.

haha like others have posted, the definition of modification needs to be made!

The only thing on my car that hasn't been modified is the roof and the front fenders. Nothing else is stock FB.

Fully Built TII Drivetrain
Custom Rear
Fully custom suspension

Etc etc etc...

A lot of interesting cars in this thread. Like the electric conversion!

Modified?

Mine is modified. Heck, its even in my sig. FD engine with single turbo run on a microtech, T2 Turbo trans with custom drive shaft and to many other mods to list. Still looks stock. Its a sleeper.
