Oh yeah his car is awesome! I'm not one for body kits but I added that into the equation...

I just wanted to stimulate ideas of who everyone thought had amazing cars.

Some of the straight body FBs out there are just aas good IMO.

I also know there was that one guy who fabbed up a IRS for his car but then ran it into the wall at a track.

To each his Own.

I need to take more recent pics. I've completely redone the interior since those pics and really cleaned up the wiring.

A lot of the most modified 1st gens are the ones on Craig's List that have been sitting a long time that you get to start back up in the seller's back yard. Makes a pretty picture when you get it home

If you think my car is only a FB with a body kit.. Then you should take a look in my project thread... The only thing left of a original FB is the roof and front windshield.

Everything else is Modified og replaced by other parts.

^^^ I would say you take the cake. I've never seen another FB modified as extensively, with as many one off parts.

DirectFreak has my vote -- without seeing his car, I would have never even bought mine or started such a project.

Everyone shown here has something to be proud of.

Yeah, I've seen that vid. too bad its v8.

I like the electric engine swap. technecally still a rotary engine. I really like all the modded FB's shown. theres a white one with a roll pan on here, that looks sick even with the giant spoiler. I have a roll pan also. I think it looks good. even though it got bumped by my buddy earl and cracked some. so looks like I'll be redoing it soon or later.

my car uses mostly stock rx-7 parts from all generations, it is highly modified and at the same time it isn't. thanks for the compliments though.

things left to do on mine: misc bushings/mounts, steering hub/wheel, potentially different wheels, and better cooling ducts. I cannot really think of anything else, I'm happy with the power and handling, if anything some sort of aux injection to keep the knock away.

Have to agree with WAS12A, it depends on how you look at it. Stock body doesn't mean there isn't something menacing under the hood
I prefer the all round approach to modifying eg Brakes/suspension/engine/cooling system etc, there's no point in having 300rwkw with stock brakes for example.
I have tried to keep some sort of balance and still keep my 7 drivable on the road.
Some of my mods include-
S3 front struts with S6 calipers and S4 slotted discs, braided brake lines,
Front coilovers with 350Lb springs and KYB's
17" Lenso wheels
Custom rear springs, very low and no chopping involved
Whiteline swaybars F & R
Noltec camber tops
48mm 13B PP with 50mm EFi Hardware throttle bodies
Lt10s ECU
PWR radiator customised for use with heater, D/C fan
S4 oil cooler front mounted
S5 Turbo g/box and lightened flywheel H/D clutch
Sparco reclinable seats
Custom nightglow gauges 3 color changable
Carbon Fiber Doortrims
Carbon Fiber gearshift surround
Carbon Fiber centre console panel
Respray in Chrysler 300C metallic silver - factory pinstripes replicated
New taillight lenses/gaskets etc
New indicator lenses
New windscreen
Carbon Fiber OEM style hood
Carbon Fiber headlight covers/lids
Carbon Fiber wiper cowl panel
S1 JDM chrome license plate lamps
Chrome door handles
etc etc
