Highest / Most Modified 1st Gen RX-7 (79-85)

I'm curious who everyone thinks has the most modified first gen?

I'm thinking it's:
1. Norwegian_rotary's Wide Body 20B (Not Finished)
https://www.rx7club.com/build-threads-293/my-project-695029/

OR

2. BLOWNandTWISTED's FD Replica 1st Gen with a TURBO II (Not Finished)
https://www.rx7club.com/build-threads-293/guess-whos-back-756799/

OR

3. ΝΙΚΟΣ's Extreme Greek Seven
https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...ht=Greek+Seven

Or is there one that I'm over looking that's more highly modified?

What do you all think?

It depends on what ya call "modified"

Mine looks fairly stock, but if you take a closer look, pretty much every single part of the car has been either swapped out for something different, painted, or re-trimmed in some way.

Cam...

all 3 generation Rx-7s brought together to create one unique beast of a car. That takes the crown i think.

then again......idk if this car still exists. Some rotary tuner i think named "tito" from the bronx (hunts point to be specific) took a first gen Rx-7 and put a widebodykit on it with a 300zx front nose and dropped in a v6 twin turbo from a buick grand national. It was blue. My dad told me about it. built in the early 90s. now thats impressive. never seen pics but if you ask around, its not bullshit.

I don't think it is very fair to compare the amount of modifications to other people's. Let's face it, there are far too many various directions people have modified their cars. For the record, I don't think any of the three listed at the beginning of this thread are any more modified than say, Viking War Hammer's. If you want to go with outward modifications, well, they are all pretty worthless unless you've got all the other modifications backing up the appearance changes.

Regardless, I vote this thread as failure due to the principle that there are far too many variables of how you can modify your car to even consider one more modified than another.

I agree, too many variables for this to be "fair" Personally I like the cleaner stock look of say Directfreak's car, or notveryhappyjacks, as they look stock but pack a punch under the hood.
Choosing from the 3 listed in the first post here I'd go with Norwegian's car mainly because it has a 20b, and dozens of other modifications/customizations to back it up, but its basically track only.... personally I prefer a clean street car.

How don't they belong? Hot rodders only change the looks of new cars now? Optional "Appearance packages" have been around forever.
Pacifica was putting widebodies on these cars as soon as they came out...
If you're of the opinion that they don't look good, thats fine, but I don't get why they "don't belong"...

It's just my opnion. The available bodykits/ground effects look like cheap add-ons from a JC Whitney Catalog.

I prefer the stock bodylines with a fat tire that's done correctly, not with some brittle fender flares.

Damn, i have to agree with hammer. The "SIR RX-7" looks a ton better than the 3 up top IMO. Stock lines, fatass wheel/tire setup, quality all around....**** looks damn aggressive

...but then again this thread is about Modified 1st Gens, not what 1st gen setups look the best, so...

Touche! That's a well done suspension/tire...And I hate bolt-on fender flares, and ****-fit fiberglass kits too.mostly because they never fit properly and you can tell they've been screwed on in an afternoon...
Every once in a while, though something with really clean work comes along that I like... Blownandtwisted's is one of them...And that purple car we keep hearing about. And mine.
