A Few fresh pics of my T2 83 S
In preparation for the OCC meet this saturday I gave the car a good detailing last night. It was too dark for any good shots once I was done, so I snapped a few real quick shots this morning before going to work. It was really humid and damp so there is dew on the car, but I think the shots came out decently enough lol.
Enjoy.

Unfortunately it's at my in-law's in Seattle, waiting for me to get it east. I'll be there with my '01 miata though.
I've been joking, that I really want to be goofy, I'll wash and wax the '89 323 and bring that, not sure that would really get the type of attention I'm looking for though

Thanks for the compliments! its PPG base/clear and I spent hours color sanding/buffing after painting it, that was 2 years ago and its still holding up well, especially since it sits outside year round.... I'll get some engine bay and interior pics tonight if I can and post them.

Ok got a couple quick shots on my GF's camera. I took more interior shots but they are all blurry... Anyway, sorry for the dirty engine but this car spends its life outside and I daily drive it (except when there is a ton of salt on the roads) so it gets dirty!

Yeah, I only have a 1 car sized barn that I build my cars in, so whatever car is the current project (right now its my Trans Am) takes up that space. The other cars all sit outside.... Certainly not the best setup, but it works I'll try to get some more pics, I've been meaning to get more shots of the engine mount system I made, and some other things I did to make the swap work the way I wanted it to....
Thanks again for the complments!

Clean!
Two things:
1.) Get yourself a car cover. Best $90 you can spen and will save your paint.
2.) Please post pictures of the business side of your engine bay (read turbo). That air filter angle is a little odd and I would like to see what is going on there.

I'll have to get some pics of the turbo side, but basically there is a 45 degree 3" pipe off the turbo that goes to the MAF then a 90 degree silicone elbow off the maf with that filter on the end. I made the 45 degree pipe as short as possible, but it still puts the maf too close to the headlight motor and my I/C piping to fit a decent sized filter on it. The only one I could fit was a tiny no name brand pos that actually made the car less responsive (quite noticably too)
If the car never saw rain I'd cut a hold through the side radiator panel and put the filter out in front of the rad, but it would get wet there and without redoing the whole I/C setup there really isn't another place for it Works pretty well there though I will say that!
