If you can't find one locally, by the time you get someone elses, + shipping + hassle if it gets broken in shipping (who pays?) + whatever scratches/ wear marks etc it has, I would consider new, esp if you local guys $$ includes delivery.
Be aware that the glass is anchored at the bottom of the internal track by a pair of nylon clips, which are bound to be brittle, if they have not already failed. Not sure these are even avai from mazda... I have seen them still avai thru Australian vendors (ebay).

Off-topic but Australian eBay vendors have EVERYTHING ! . NLA is a myth unless ita an engine part, and even then they probably want your firstborn child for it, but they have it .
Do professional auto glass installers have their own special delivery services? I cannot image shipping a car's door glass by FEDEX and not having the package thrown around. As anyone had car's door glass successfully shipped to them from an independent car part stripper?

at the dealership we used to shake the boxes with glass in them, if it sounds like legos, you didn't even need to open it...
That nylon piece sounds like something @Benjamin4456 or @kutukutu1 needs to add to their list of printable parts.
I was reading through and thinking the exact same thing - as soon as I saw your comment I chuckled. I actually have a few nylon parts printed and I'd definitely be up for making these (very close to posting some parts as well, finally...). If I am correct though, Atkins has these available still, or at least they did a year ago when I broke one of mine.
So they do still have them. I can definitely make them cheaper than 25 bucks a pop, although Atkins' repro cast nylon will always have an edge in terms of durability over my FDM process.
Last time I rolled the pass side down it separated from the track, so the crank kept going down but the window hung at half way. Now that Summer's here I need to fix this.
Two of those nylon clip/retainers are needed per side. Here's an order I got from Aussieland. Line item 4, part number 1994 is what you are talking about. I think the shipping was going to be the same for one item vs the whole list. Ended up getting a bunch of things. Phil had a "going out of business" notice on his ebay store when the order was placed, it's still up there now.
The package came quickly and was packed well. Nice quality feel to the parts too. The cost below is in AUD.
Thank you Benjamin and swbtm for those parts references. I ordered from Phil's in Australia. I've ordered from him before and gotten reasonable shipping times. I've actually been ordering lots of parts from Aussie and NZ sellers lately.
I'm glad Atkins is reproducing them but at $25 each that's a hard sell.
I don't think I'll buy from Phil's Rotary again. Each item had $25-$50 shipping. They said they'd combine shipping since it'd all come in the same box and weight wasn't a factor for what I was buying. They had the invoice function on ebay disabled so I couldn't buy it on one order. So I had to buy it all in multiple orders. Said they'd combine after but then wouldn't after I placed the order on ebay. Order arrived in one box, probably $100 shipping for a box the size of a large book and weighing in at around a pound.
For orders like that, you can send a request for quote, with the full list of parts, directly to the seller and they create a single item that you pay for once the RFQ is agreed upon. A bit convoluted but it keeps it all on one order sheet. This also reduces confusion on the sellers side in terms of what goes in the box.
The plastic inserts that hold the glass to the track you can get them at Atkins Rotary...a little bit on the expensive side for what it is but they are brand new...

I tried that. I emailed the seller telling him that what I wanted to do and he said to use the invoice or request a quote method. (I don't do a lot of ebay buying and it's been a few years back.) I put all the items together and when I clicked to submit it for a quote, ebay told me the seller wasn't accepting quotes. So I emailed again. Same story or no reply (it's been a few years) so I bought all the parts using ebay's shopping basket feature and sent an email to the seller asking for the difference, again no response. I don't remember my exact order but he had something that at the time I couldn't find stateside or was astronomical here (again don't recall which). I have an SA so some items are unique, hard to find, and in very limited quantities. There was also a call to action (going out of business) sale when in reality I don't think they are going out of business. I think I ended up paying $20 for shipping a key or something that weighs "nothing" and was shipped in the same box as another high shipping priced weightless item.
This all said, by all means, please do business with them. The parts are as described, the exchange rate is favourable to the US, and parts arrived pretty quick based on my recollection; just be a little more pushy about shipping.
