Seems like an attention thing if you're taking a big cash loss everytime, its certainly not logical from a financial standpoint.

Sure working on stuff is fun, you can always keep working on what you have and make it nicer. Just my 2 cents

I agree, I meant no flaming whatsoever. Sorry if it came across that way - I didn't mean it to.

I do think that there are things that can't be learned without the introduction of new projects though. But as you state, why build up a project worth thousands of dollars and hundreds of man hours to sell it for a loss to someone that can't explain why this part is installed instead of another, where this wire goes, or why this decision was made in the build.

I do agree with the "keep what you have and make it nicer" statement, that's how I've justified keeping my 7 and learning to work on the rotary engine instead of selling the car and getting a piston powered car. I'll learn more, and it will mean more to me in the end. And by end, I mean death as my car will be a project that will never be finished or sold if I have anything to say about it
