Anyone contact Sterling lately?

Hey all, I'm trying to get in contact with Sterling. His site appears to be down and I don't see him around on the forums. Has anyone been in contact with him recently?

No one has heard from him in years. His last post is here: https://www.rx7club.com/1st-gen-non-.../#post10372720 and theres no last activity timestamp on

He's been MIA for a number of years at this point unfortunately. There were a few threads about him in the good guy/bad guy forum saying that there were unfilled orders etc

Thanks guys, yea I saw all that ugly stuff. We emailed a couple of times last summer, then he abruptly stopped answering. And all his emails bounce and his website is gone. I hope nothing bad happened to him. He does have medical issues.

I corresponded with Dennis thru email about 2 years ago. I sent him some carb parts to be modified, and was emailing back and forth with him several times a week at that point. Haven't heard from him since. Never got the parts back, so I ended up making my own Sterling carb. Hopefully everything's okay with him. I'm over the carb parts now. I ended up making my own carb, so getting the parts back at this point is useless.

If I had more free time I would start building these carbs and selling them. It takes a lot of work to make one, but people are dying to get their hands on them. They are selling for $400-500 in the classifieds.

Your carb pics are truly beautiful, I'd have no issue buying one built by you

And it's not just the beauty on the outside, it's what happens inside the carb walls that makes it truly worth the money. I'm sure some people would love to have a Sterling alternative built out of a Nikki that could perform as well as a DCOE, Weber, Holly, etc. for about the same cost - but being able to keep the same intake mani and have the Nikki stamp on it
