Deals Gap, Rainy Friday, No one else around

It was a perfect day for driving. I told my son if anybody was out snapping pics in that rain, I'd buy 'em. Killboy was, on the way back in. Here they are.

Very pretty. Love the rota wheels.

Only in a first gen can you get that contact with the road and nature.

Cool pics! Love the one of the 7 rolling away, always loved the back ends of our cars.

You have the same dent as I! On the front passenger quarter panel in the same spot! So sick of that dent, maybe we should see if Mazda will do a recall for a defect in that spot

Panasports. That explains it, doesn't get any better. Too bad they're now unobtanium.

That dent is the usual mechanics knee dent, found in all first gens.

Nice! We went out driving too. Made the rear tires all dirty, but hey, at least I was driving.

Your car has just the right look, in my opinion. It was good meeting you. I was the guy you were talking to on the porch on Thursday before you drove back to Swannanoa to pick up your son.

Hey Andy those are nice pics you have there. It was great talking with you Saturday about
ignition setups.

Ray I think Andy should be inducted into the OGTA. He's one of us for sure!

Andy is now officially an OGTA.

Andy, send me your address, I'll mail you your OGTA cards.

Link to the pics is no good. All I see is a list of categories. Are we supposed to have a photobucket account?

It doesn't work on my phone either. But it's fine on Mac or pc. Better even. The Killboy takes great pics.

This link works for mobile. But small screen does no justice.

Try a different browser, photobucket has been picky lately.

Thanks for that. I met so many great people. Have you ever driven to Saluda? Take a trip down the switchbacks at Green River Cove Rd. Best. Drive. Ever!

Yes I have! (Canoed the Green River, too) That's the great thing about living here. You have a hundred roads just like deals gap right out your back door.

Now they are giving names to some of the roads I have loved all my life. I guess to make it like a "tail of the dragon" thing, but it's kind of funny.
I don't come to the DGRR for the road - It's for the cars, and little bit for the people (I'm kinda anti-social)
