County sent me "junk car fine"

LOl 200 dollar fine?

I got a certified letter from Bexar county saying Junk car and debris pile.

Dated 18th of this month.

Well the pile was because I just painted her and put in new radiator and rad housing and removed the AC. I had all that garbage in one pile next to the car.

Also if it was 18th I had new plates front and back, new inspection sticker and current state registration sticker good till 10/08.

WTF? It said I can get a hearing. I have been taking picture of everything so I am gonna get the hearing and bring a slide show of pictures to embarass whoever.

This really sucks.. they see an old RX7 and just think it's junk... Im so pissed ..

Yea the pile was mostly like 3 packs of 2 mil plastic, 18 empty primer cans, old radiator, waterpump, hoses, wp housing, 5-6 empty anti freeze jugs.

WTF I put it in a pile so the wind would not blow it everywhere. Regular trash does not take radiators lol..

I wouldn't figure it would matter in Bexar County. Don't most people in San Antonio park ON their front yards anyways?

Well if it was on the 18th then I can see the trash pile. That I plan on removing tomorrow anyway. But not the car since it had stickers and new plates.

Anyway I think they can't fine me if I clean the pile up it said 30 days to comply.

No they listed the RX7 as the junk car. The pile was just on the list of "offenses".

Dude, someone called you in. I think its time to be nicer to your neighbors!

Thank goodness I live in the country, your county would have a heart attack if they saw my property.

Yea I know people with spares. But yea I think your right someone dropped the dime. Which is beeping stupid because I was saving her from the crusher. Love for the RX7 will win this one. I am gonna go to court and rant that the only "Junk" vehicle that day was the one doing the inspection.

The car was inspected on the 12th how the hell can they say it had no stickers and plates on the 18th? lol...

While i dont think they were right in giving you this ticket, its definetly because someone complained.

I would try the polite and explain the situation in your hearing/court. Usually if you go and are polite (here in canada anyways) they will at least reduce the fine if not get rid altogether

Go ahead and appear, but be professional, dress in a suit or best you have, be polite, be forearmed, read the section they cited you under, take all your documentation and take photos of the car and scene.

Keep your temper.....seriously

Yea I know what to do lol. But still like the fantasy of like that movie My Myself & Irene when he drove the car into the place and spit on the ticket.

Here is exactly what they would of seen parked in front of my 92 vette. How can they see the tags did they jump my gate or fence?
