Considering intake ceramic coating (Cerakote)
Not getting acceptable results polishing. Considering my car is all over with color anyways, let’s consider the options.
(yeah, my skills here are a bit lacking in the digital artistry)
was leaning white. The wheel meshes are white and it looks clean . Red looks strong and the seats are red, so that could tie things together, but red is a bit Honda. Orange is there to celebrate the Orange intake from the 12a turbo. Purple already exists under the hood, might as well keep with the trend.
the charge pipe and throttle body remain polished.

I considered black, but its such a standard speed shop option. A bit un-inspired i feel. I'm not against black but it's not stirring my soul. Remember as well my interior has white trim on the stereo surround and the seats are red and white. Well, its a herringbone.. bit it has white in it. Also my wheels are white as well.

white may look nice, but its traditionally tough to keep clean

I think you could go red or white if you changed the alternator to match.
Otherwise I think black.

polished to perfection (looks near there) or not, the aluminum/sliver is the ticket. Will help match and bring the bay together nicely, The idea of the orange to match the original 12AT was cool tho

agree with above ... i like the idea of the orange when you include the subtext, but looking at it in your photo, something isn't right. polished is definitely the way to go.
not sure if you're interested, but i've been a fan of this guy for quite a few years now. maybe some of his stuff might help? here's a first in a series ...

Black will absorb heat, white will reflect it.

I am a big fan of the purple (might be a little biased) but only if it could match the alternator to a T. Otherwise the boring safe choices are always, well, that; boring and safe. Black, silver, and grey. Matte white could look good too, but not gloss imho.
