Cold start assist hardwire?

Hi, I’m thinking of an idea using the cold start assist system to inject alcohol or something else as a fun side project. Has anybody hardwired the pump so it doesn’t rely on the engine temp

I believe most people that have it simply remove it. In fact I recall someone mentioning that there was a TSB suggesting it's removal as it was unnecessary or something like that.

You'd also run into the issue that the nozzles from which the cold start assist injects (same part as the AP nozzle block) are essentially large holes and are not metered whatsoever. I'm sure you could make something work, although I personally wouldn't be keen on dumping alcohol into my engine, let alone in unmetered quantities.
