Depends on what you mean by "cold start".

There are several items which come together to form the whole cold start system. There is also confusion because there is a sub zero system.

Can you be more specific? Also, what are you trying to accomplish?

When cold starting and reving up to 3000 is normal and they all do that. a slight tap on the gaspedal and revs should go down to 1500 untill warm.
