Clunker special

THis is my cousin's 83 GS which he bought in mid-82. IT has a rebuilt 12-A streetport, RB suspension/Konis, RB full exhaust, epsilons. It has been sitting in the garage for the past 7 years. it has a top of the line alpine/boston acoustic system. He called me yesterday and he handed the keys to me.

here are the pix

the bad:

Alpine system has a casette, not CD. but hey, it was top of the line back in the days

and the rest

After one week of driving, my nephew wrecked it so now Im taking it apart. glad I have extra epsilons lips since one side is bad

so, he just gave you the car? you must be one hell of a great guy, lol!! and that collision is why..inexperienced drivers shouldnt have the keys to an RX-7. those parts are near irreplacable.. glad you got the parts to fix it though. beautiful car! i should just fly out there and buy that car from you and take it home

Too bad the "kid" wrecked it. Glad to see it much better hands now. Are you going to fix it, or tear it apart?

It looks pretty bad to me. Luckily, I offer a free towing service and will take it off your hands. I'll be there Friday.

yup yup yup...16 yo who just got his license. full exhaust including headers and radiator are out, motor is unbolted and will be out by tomorrow. I will be installing the these items in my son's FB and I will install the 13-B streetport from his FB to my other 73 RX-3 (recently painted BMW black) along with brake system and front suspension. Both seats are also immaculate since it has a sheep skin cover since day one and was not daily driven. Along with the car, my cousin gave me this item that he bought and has been in his bedroom wall since day one. will take apart the interior/body after Sevenstock since I have 3 RX-3 and 2 FB's to get ready.

that sucks. Couldn't a good wheel shop repair that Epsilon?

Feel like unloading them after you put the new lip on?

i havent really paid attention to the crunched epsilon but I will take it my local guy next week for his opinion. To be honest, I even offered him cash for the motor and epsilons but he made up his mind to just hand it down to me for free. Maybe after a few years, I will give him my other FB (in storage) with most of the goodies from his RX-7.
