the cliche and played out, but never bad looking parking garage photoshoot. (no 56k)
as for the rims more than your car....i guess so....idk. i dont care about the price its all about if you are happy with your car performance wise and aesthetically.
maybe im just weird.....maybe thats what sets me apart.......who knows

wtf? and as far as the white hood, who knows maybe ill try and see if i like it, thats the beauty of a twenty dollar paint job, i can change it as i please.
as i said to each their own. i just dont understand why you wouldnt do it the right way. thats all im saying. i did all the body work and paint on my car myself. i also made sure there were no waves no chips no digs and that everything was perfect. and i also used auto paint which that alone took me somewhere in the neighborhood of 5 hours or more. there are a lot of coats of paint and then a ton of coats of clear (flat clear is a bitch to lay as its harder to tell if everything is properly evenly covered)
if youre taking 11 hours to prep and paint **** why not take the extra time to make sure all the waves are out and it is properly done?
maybe this idea is just eluding me......
also as i said if he is happy with it more power to him...personally id never be able to walk out to my car in the morning with waves in the side skirts and be happy with it.....
and im just curious why is everyone all of a sudden going to the 2 tone paint job?

the only reason the skirt wave is because i have pop riveted them to the underbody yet, only along fender, i dont think there going anywhere :shrugs: and the 12 hours was prep, paint, and mounting the body and somewhere in the middle of all of that i went to my nephew b-day party, so its not like ive invested too much time, for a days worth of work, im very happy with it.
because ever other time i work on the car for a day, i make negative progress as something i dont have to replace always breaks.

each side is held on by 5 pop rivets (painted flat black) and 4 screws....
Cody, I've got a white hood if you want it. I was thinking about throwing it on my red fb just to see how it looks, but have more important projects to keep up with right now. If you want it, its yours...
I feel like I should be posting pics of my car in this thread since its turned into the "everyone loves black and white first gens" thread... haha I was going to paint my hood black at one point but decided against it....
